What should I do if my patient does not have a CGM-compatible phone?

Options are available for patients who don’t have a smartphone.

While patients can use a receiver to read their blood sugars from some CGM devices, all Medicaid Managed Care Plans work with Pulsewrx, an Ohio-based Lifeline phone vendor, to offer CGM-compatible phones to Medicaid members. Using a phone will allow patients to upload their blood sugar data to the cloud analytics platform.

Pulsewrx staff are available to do training for office staff. Patients can visit the Pulsewrx application website to apply for a CGM-compatible smartphone.
